Private trainer Lisa StemcoskyLisa Stemcosky, owner of Pawlitically Correct, is the only Certified Cat Behavior Consultant in the DC metropolitan area.  She offers private cat training sessions and behavior modification, both in-home and via remote Skype sessions. Lisa is also the Feline Behavior Manager in the Humane Rescue Alliance’s Training Department, where she works to improve the lives of shelter dogs and cats by educating the community, teaching dog and cat training classes, and working with shelter animals. Last year, Lisa was chosen as a Shelter Mentor in the Jackson Galaxy Project’s Cat Pawsitive Pro Program.  As a mentor for Cat Pawsitive Pro, Lisa advises and mentors staff members and volunteers in shelters across the US on how to implement feline behavior modification programs in their shelter. Week day evenings and weekend appointments available by appointment.

What to Expect

Prior to your first session you will be sent a history form to complete and submit before we meet. If we are doing a remote session, you may be asked to submit videos and pictures of the concerning behavior and environment. After your session you will receive a training, behavior modification or environmental modification plan.  It's important that you stick to the plan and recommendations to achieve the desired outcome.
