Attention high school students. Have you ever wondered what it is like to practice veterinary medicine? Are you thinking about veterinary medicine as a possible career? There are many career options for veterinarians. Get your questions answered by the experts. Join HRA and St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center on Saturday, March 20th from 10:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. for Veterinary Medicine Careers Exploration. Veterinarians with specialties in surgery and shelter medicine will discuss their work and some of the many choices within the profession. In addition, a current University of Missouri veterinary student will share her journey which includes volunteer work and study abroad programs.
