The second annual Meow DC cat festival will return on May 30 for another day filled with all things relating to cats.
Not only will Meow DC cater to our community’s ever-growing population of cat lovers, but it will support our local animal welfare organization, the Humane Rescue Alliance. Unlike events with similar missions in other cities, 100 percent of proceeds from this fundraising event will support the many programs and services HRA provides to the community.
Thanks to the support of sponsors like Hill’s and the NOVA Cat Clinic, this second annual cat fest will be bigger and better than the first. Meow DC 2020 will feature:
TrapKing, Sterling Davis (@the_original_trapking), who will discuss trap-neuter-return in a big city and how to care for community cats, along with breaking the stereotype of who a “cat person” can be.
Pip the Beach Cat (@imfeelingpipsy), an Ocean City, Maryland, local.
Mr. Dobbs (@i_am_mr_dobbs), who is traveling in for the event from New York City in what is sure to be a fabulous outfit.
Sunglass Cat (@sunglasscat) who’s returning to Meow DC by popular demand.
Tickets to Meow DC are $40. The first 200 people to purchase tickets will receive an exclusive piece of Meow DC merchandise along with a complimentary drink in the Cat Lounge.
