The Humane Rescue Alliance today released Dogs Cats Sports featuring photographs of Washington, DC-area sports personalities with their pets, and adoptable animals from HRA. Photographs from the book were compiled over several months and include athletes from local professional sports teams, area colleges and universities, sports media personalities, and two dancers from The Washington Ballet.
“When we envisioned HRA’s Dogs, Cats, Sports book project, the synergy was evident to both of us,” said Max and Erica Scherzer, in the book’s forward. “The intersection between our love of sports and the joy of pet ownership is a wonderful place, evident in the photographs contained in this book.”
The book is available to purchase online for $30 at humanerescuealliance.org/DogsCatsSports. All proceeds will benefit the animals and vital programs and services of the Humane Rescue Alliance.
