We at HRA love our foster parents. When you welcome a foster animal into your home you can feel good knowing that you’ve made a positive difference in an animal’s life. You also open a cage or kennel space for us to save another animal. Our robust and generous network of foster homes makes it possible for us to care for more animals with more complicated needs—from orphaned kittens who need round-the-clock feedings to cats and dogs for whom the shelter environment is too stressful and does not allow them to exhibit their true personalities. We couldn't do it without you. Thank you for helping us save thousands of our community's most vulnerable animals every year.
This site will help you navigate the HRA foster process. From this site you are able to access information about: foster supplies, tips for helping your foster settle into your home, information about our medical system, preparing for adoption, and how to handle emergencies.
We’ve added the videos from your online orientation to the site just in case you need a refresher, as well as the HRA foster program release you completed after orientation.
We'll send fresh, amazing content straight to your inbox so you can keep a pulse on your animal community.
