    Everyone has a story to tell - Animal Tales introduces fifth, sixth, and seventh graders to companion animals and their stories. Campers will be meet animals awaiting adoption, HRA alumni, and other guests. Campers will promote shelter animals’ stories and delight in the happy endings told by many of the visitors!

    Campers will make toys for shelter animals, create animal care budgets, promote adoptions, develop a long list of names to be used for future shelter animals, and explore other ways to help HRA help the animals. The week is designed for kids who care about animals and are eager to make the world better for them.
