Jennah Billeter, the daughter of a biology professor, grew up being around and learning about animals. She fell in love with helping homeless animals when she began fostering animals. In 2012, Jennah began her career in animal welfare with the former Washington Humane Society (WHS) as an overnight Customer Care Associate. She then worked as the Customer Care Supervisor for WHS and, in 2013, she enthusiastically accepted the position of Foster Program Manager. In this role, she has worked to build program that saves the lives of thousands of animals from our most vulnerable populations of animals. Now, as the Director of Volunteer and Foster Resources for the Humane Rescue Alliance she works to continually improve and innovate programs to help our animals and the people who want to help. Jennah is a proud graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park and holds graduate degrees from Virginia Tech and George Mason. She lives in the DC area with her 10 year old dog Bow Tie Brett, and five cats (all HRA alums) Squeak, Chip, Zoey, Lina, and Wondie. Jennah is a huge Sci-Fi fan and loves to ballroom dance.
