Kim Keller was named Chief Development Officer for the Humane Rescue Alliance in January 2017. Keller will oversee the Humane Rescue Alliance’s development department and will help guide all aspects of the organization’s fundraising.Keller comes to the Humane Rescue Alliance from the National Audubon Society where she was the national organization’s Vice President of Development and Principal Gifts. Keller managed Audubon’s portfolio of high-capacity donors and secured a dozen transformative gifts of at least $1 million from individual and foundation donors.Prior to her tenure at Audubon, she was Regional Vice President at Community Counseling Service (CCS), one of the region’s top capital campaign and development firms. At CCS, Keller managed numerous capital campaigns ranging from $3 million to more than $65 million and directed a team of campaign consultants.Keller received her Bachelor’s Degree from Michigan State University and a Master’s and Ph.D. from Indiana University. Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Kim lives in Olney, Maryland and is a wild bird enthusiast.
