Paralyzed Kitten Takes First Steps

  When 2-month-old Talleyrand arrived at the Humane Rescue Alliance, she was paralyzed with no deep pain or movement in her hind legs or tail. Puerto Rico Dogs Find New Home in DC

After several months of planning, the Humane Rescue Alliance (HRA) was thrilled to receive seven dogs from transfer partner Barks of Hope in Puerto Rico. The dogs traveled 1,500 miles as part of HRA's Shelter Animal Relief Effort (ShARE). A New Life for Hoarding Survivors

On the evening of July 19, animal control and humane law enforcement officers with the Humane Rescue Alliance (HRA) removed 63 cats and kittens from a home in Northwest Washington as part of a case of hoarding and inhumane treatment of animals.
