$5,000 Reward: HRA Investigates Horrific Act of Animal Cruelty

WARNING, GRAPHIC CONTENT AND PHOTOS.

On Tuesday, November 6 the Humane Rescue Alliance received an anonymous tip that lead officers to the picnic area of Langdon Park NE in Washington, DC where they discovered a pit bull type dog deceased and abandoned. The dog was most likely left at the location late Monday (November 5) or early Tuesday morning (November 6) before 9:30 a.m. The location of the park is the 2900 block of 20th Street, NE.

The Humane Rescue Alliance desperately needs the help of the community for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for this horrific act of animal cruelty. The Humane Rescue Alliance is offering a $5,000 reward that will be given to any person who provides such information.

If you have any information about this case, please contact the Humane Rescue Alliance's Humane Law Enforcement Department at 202-723-5730 ext. 132 or contact Officer Russell at [email protected].
